Henry Smith

Henry Smith, of Corballis, Co Dublin, is a founding member of SARDA Ireland, with Don and others he set up the organisation in 1987. The former training Officer for many years in SARDA Ireland Henry is the glue that holds it all together. His dog Morse a full grade search dog for many years has recently retired after many years of active service and is now enjoying a well deserved rest.

Henry has a few years left in him yet and as well as being a superb ambassadors for sarda and mountain rescue in general. he is busy training a new dog as well as assisting with the training and assessing of our dogs. Getting Henry to tell his story is like pulling teeth and he has few enough! Henry has been a member of the Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team for many years.
